Find any email in your archive instantly with full-text search, filter operators, and keyboard navigation.
Search your emails
Type any word or phrase into the search bar at the top of BeeMail. It searches through subject lines, sender and recipient addresses, and the full email body. Results appear instantly, sorted by date.
Search works entirely offline — no internet connection needed.
Search operators
You can add special filters to narrow down your results. These work alongside regular search words and aren’t case-sensitive.

Combining filters
You can mix and match filters with regular search words:
from:alice after:2025-01-01 has:attachment quarterly reportThis finds messages from Alice, sent after January 2025, with attachments, containing “quarterly report.”
Label and folder filtering
The sidebar lists all labels (Gmail) or folders (IMAP) for the selected account. Click a label to filter the message list to only that label. This works alongside search — you can select a label and type a search query to further narrow results.
Browsing by account
If you have multiple accounts connected, click an account name in the sidebar to view its messages. The label list updates to show that account’s labels. To search across all accounts, make sure no specific account is selected.

Keyboard shortcuts work when you’re browsing the message list (not when you’re typing in the search bar).
